Responsibilities
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development balancing specifications, requirements, and costs.
- Lay out industrial electrical control panels and create relevant schematics.
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code for manufacturing applications.
- Develop robotic systems for automated manufacturing of vehicle sub-components.
- Implement safety systems for safeguarding manufacturing equipment.
- Generate HMI screens for complex machinery.
- Manage electrical cabinet builds and field wiring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in automation and controls systems design and commissioning.
- Experience with electromechanical/mechatronic systems and PLC programming.
- Knowledge of electrical schematic CAD and relevant codes (NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass background checks and perform physical tasks as required.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.
