Responsibilities
- Participate in initial equipment conceptual development.
- Lay out new industrial electrical control panels and create schematics.
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code for manufacturing applications.
- Develop robot systems for automated manufacturing of vehicle sub-components.
- Implement control reliable safety systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Generate HMI screens for complex machinery.
- Manage electrical cabinet builds and deploy automated processes into production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years experience in automation and controls systems design and commissioning.
- Process integration and electromechanical/mechatronic systems experience.
- PLC programming experience, preferably with Siemens TIA Portal & Beckhoff TwinCat 3.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A codes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
