Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams in designing and building prototypes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to enhance design architecture.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) simulations for the system.
- Create models for the current prototype and the full-scale system.
- Test built systems and develop code for flight and ground applications.
- Source components by collaborating with vendors.
- Utilize CAD software and coding skills in C++, Python, and/or Rust.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a STEM degree program.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Ansys, or thermal desktop).
- Coding experience in C++, Python, and/or Rust.
- Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
- Knowledge of Dynamics and Kinematics is a plus.
- Must be able to maintain or obtain Government Security Clearance.
