Responsibilities
- Performs specific portions of complex engineering assignments and analyzes technical data.
- Conducts basic engineering calculations, analysis, and modeling.
- Reviews existing drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Assists in collecting and analyzing wastewater samples and interprets lab results.
- Manages project planning, design, and construction for capital improvements.
- Prepares project documentation including proposals and scopes of work.
- Mentors junior engineers and interns while providing project updates to management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or environmental engineering.
- Minimum of two years of professional engineering experience in water or wastewater projects.
- Engineer Intern (EI) certification required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of engineering principles and wastewater treatment.
- Ability to conduct fieldwork including sampling and construction inspection.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and a clear or acceptable MVR.
