Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and analyze new products and components.
- Collaborate with industrial design, operations, and engineering teams.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Support development builds at external suppliers and manufacturers.
- Create detailed design models and documentation for production.
- Develop and conduct technical experiments for design selection.
- Supervise mechanical designs and lead technical design reviews.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and knowledge of manufacturing methods.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D documentation.
- Technical background in product design and structural analysis.
- Strong communication skills for presenting ideas.
- Preferred experience with consumer electronics and overseas manufacturing.
