Responsibilities
- Own schematic design, component selection, and stackup definition for boards from concept to final deliverable.
- Design in complex SOCs, PMICs, Wireless ICs, and sensors for low-power consumer electronics.
- Lead and contribute to technical design reviews.
- Supervise and review layout for PCB, Flex, and Rigid Flex designs.
- Debug hardware issues with cross-functional teams.
- Test and validate all board level and systems level aspects of electrical designs.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, RF, thermal, and industrial design teams.
Job Requirements
- BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical or hardware engineering.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices.
- Proficiency in design of battery-operated systems including chargers and protection circuits.
- Experience with various communication interfaces such as USB, I2C/I3C, SPI, UART, MIPI, SWD, and PCIE.
- Knowledge of layout strategies for power supply circuits and signal integrity.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
