Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams, including software and hardware disciplines, to support development, qualification, and certification.
- Develop and maintain the architectural vision for fly-by-wire systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document system requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in system design, implementing mitigation strategies for safety and reliability.
- Oversee testing and validation of fly-by-wire systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and performance benchmarks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with fly-by-wire flight control systems design.
- 10+ years of professional working experience in a full cycle engineering role.
- Experience with applicable aviation certification requirements.
- Experience with component level qualification for aerospace applications.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in relevant engineering fields.
- Preferred: 15+ years of professional working experience in a full cycle engineering role.
