Responsibilities
- Develop technology and commodity roadmaps for current and future programs.
- Liaise between supply chain and engineering for supplier and component selection.
- Execute strategic sourcing plans for silicon components, including market research and contract negotiation.
- Cultivate relationships with supply chain partners and manage vendor selection.
- Drive price negotiation processes and analyze current spend and suppliers.
- Monitor market conditions and identify supply/demand challenges.
- Integrate with engineering and executive teams to drive technology roadmap reviews with semiconductor suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing processes.
- Experience with complex negotiations and cost/price analysis.
- Knowledge of the silicon industry, including market trends and technology developments.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships and performance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical degree or comparable work experience required.
- Interest in emerging technologies in consumer electronics, aerospace, and robotics.
