Responsibilities
- Understand components and operation methods of HVAC systems and related equipment.
- Identify faults and root causes to suggest control changes for efficiency improvements.
- Compile customer-facing reports with action items for operational enhancements.
- Estimate energy and operational cost savings from identified faults or improvements.
- Analyze customer building management systems and mechanical design documents.
- Select rules for fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) considering system interdependencies.
- Lead customer report presentations via video conferencing.
Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in energy management or HVAC systems/controls design.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering.
- Understanding of rule-based analytics.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
- Up to 5% travel required.
- Knowledge of HVAC energy efficiency measures and building codes preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
