Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will design, prototype, and test innovative hardware aimed at enhancing personal mobility through advanced shoe technology. The role emphasizes quick delivery and high-quality engineering designs.

• Create reliable and scalable designs
• Develop hardware products from brainstorming to final manufacturing
• Perform FEA simulations on components focusing on fatigue, torsion, and bending
• Design components for manufacturing and assembly
• Experiment with new ideas from a packaging/integration perspective
• Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and field issues
• Conduct mechanical modeling and testing of components

• Experience in designing, manufacturing, troubleshooting, and debugging prototype hardware
• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• FEA experience with static, dynamic, and thermal simulation (3+ years)
• CAD proficiency (2+ years in relevant software)
• Knowledge of scalable DFM/DFA products and manufacturing methods
• Gearbox development experience
• Project management skills and rapid prototyping experience
