Responsibilities
- Own the avionics system and execute the vision from concept through production.
- Build, lead, and mentor a world-class avionics engineering team.
- Establish and enforce appropriate design processes.
- Maintain technical excellence and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure system performance meets requirements and design expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with core teams such as engineering, production, and program management.
- Engage with external partners and coordinate with vendors and engineering teams as needed.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of aerospace engineering experience, with a strong background in avionics system design and integration.
- 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong technical fundamentals.
- Knowledge of industry standards, including DO and MIL-STD avionics design and certification processes.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
