Responsibilities
- Assist in acoustic and vibrational testing of consumer products.
- Analyze acoustic and vibration frequency spectra to identify noise sources.
- Collaborate with product development teams to enhance sound quality.
- Review designs and provide insights into noise performance.
- Design, implement, build prototypes, and test solutions for noise issues.
- Lead research on novel noise reduction and control techniques.
- Engage in hands-on development and testing workstreams.
Job Requirements
- Current student in a bachelor's or master's program in Mechanical Engineering or Acoustics Engineering.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering, acoustics, and noise control principles.
- Familiarity with CAD programs and prototype development in plastic and metal.
- Experience with electronics and test equipment common in small appliances.
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Willingness to work hands-on and tackle complex design challenges.
- Passion for acoustics and improving consumer noise experience.
