Responsibilities
- Lead the R&D Mechanical Engineering team and manage multiple projects.
- Develop and implement new technologies to enhance product performance.
- Create and execute test plans, analyze data, and develop theories for product development.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Steer new product development from a technology perspective.
- Mentor and oversee the technical performance of the engineering team.
- Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail in the product development cycle.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical or similar discipline).
- 6+ years of experience in product development or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Proven record of delivering innovative engineering solutions.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical fabrication and small appliance components.
- Basic CAD experience and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
