Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, procurement, installation, testing, and maintenance of electric power systems.
- Collaborate with team leads on the electrical power system from generation to customer connection.
- Develop power stabilization and system capacity improvement projects.
- Use analytical tools and models to optimize system capacity and improve equipment utilization.
- Review plans and specifications, coordinating with contractors and public agencies.
- Serve as a technical expert and provide guidance to field crews and other stakeholders.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Six years of experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Professional Engineer state licensure (within the U.S.) and ability to obtain Washington State registration.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Strong communication skills for professional correspondence and presentations.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and surveys.
- Experience with substation equipment specifications and design.
