Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, procurement, installation, testing, and maintenance of electric power systems.
  • Collaborate with team leads on the electrical power system from generation to customer connection.
  • Develop power stabilization and system capacity improvement projects.
  • Use analytical tools and models to optimize system capacity and improve equipment utilization.
  • Review plans and specifications, coordinating with contractors and public agencies.
  • Serve as a technical expert and provide guidance to field crews and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for new equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Six years of experience in electrical power systems engineering.
  • Professional Engineer state licensure (within the U.S.) and ability to obtain Washington State registration.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills for professional correspondence and presentations.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and surveys.
  • Experience with substation equipment specifications and design.
