Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the selection, procurement, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with team leads on segments of the electrical power system from generation to customer connection.
- Develop power stabilization and system capacity improvement projects.
- Use analytical tools to optimize system capacity and improve equipment utilization.
- Review plans and specifications, coordinating with contractors and public agencies.
- Provide technical expertise in electrical power systems engineering.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate bids for new equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Current Washington State driver's license and Professional Engineer licensure.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills for professional correspondence and presentations.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Experience in substation equipment design and operation.
