Responsibilities
- Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from development through production.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Train assemblers and technicians in new processes and procedures.
- Participate in workflow and equipment placement planning with the Operations team.
- Improve and maintain processes used in manufacturing medical laser products.
- Define and execute projects aimed at product and process improvements.
- Ensure QA and regulatory requirements are met by suppliers and production staff.
Job Requirements
- Five years of direct experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a medical environment and knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
- Knowledge of QSR documentation, ISO 9000, and Solid Works preferred.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of equipment purchasing installation, maintenance, and repair.
