Responsibilities
- Provide support and direction for systems and assemblies from development through ongoing production.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Train assemblers and technicians in new processes and procedures.
- Participate in workflow planning with the Operations team.
- Improve and maintain manufacturing processes for medical laser products.
- Ensure QA and regulatory compliance with suppliers and production staff.
- Drive data-based improvements using key performance indicators.
Job Requirements
- Five years of direct experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
- BS in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a medical environment with knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements.
- Familiarity with QSR documentation, ISO 9000, and Solid Works.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of equipment purchasing, installation, maintenance, and repair.
