Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for facilities control systems, including troubleshooting and modifying program codes.
- Define, prepare, and execute commissioning and startup processes for control systems.
- Lead contractors through the scope of work, reviewing control design packages and program designs.
- Identify and design improvements and upgrades to control systems for enhanced functionality.
- Collaborate with operators, technicians, and process engineers to implement process improvements.
- Ensure systems run without interruption, supporting 24/7 operations.
- Maintain knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in design, construction, or commissioning of industrial control systems.
- Skills in risk analysis and data-based decision management.
- Familiarity with software tools like Rockwell RS Logix/Studio 5000 and Siemens SIMATIC Manager.
- Knowledge of industrial control panels, motor control panels, and VFDs.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT networking and virtualization.
- Understanding of communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and Profibus.
