Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with Hardware/Firmware Engineering, Operations, and Support.
- Design in reliability through the product development process and own reliability modeling, testing, and validation.
- Set reliability requirements and allocate targets to subsystems.
- Lead product quality investigations and root cause analysis.
- Evaluate defect trends to improve product quality.
- Identify opportunities for corrective actions through field failure investigations.
- Create feedback loops for continuous product improvement.
Job Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related field.
- Experience with stress testing and failure analysis methodologies.
- Understanding of the physics of failure and application of stresses.
- Experience with Design for Reliability concepts and hardware reliability tests.
- Self-motivated with critical problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive and creative approach to challenges.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
