Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with Hardware/Firmware Engineering, Operations, and Support for product experience improvement.
- Design reliability into the product development process and manage reliability testing and validation.
- Set reliability requirements and allocate targets to subsystems.
- Lead investigations into product quality issues and root causes with team members and vendors.
- Analyze defect trends to enhance product quality.
- Identify corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities through field investigations.
- Create feedback loops for product improvement and future iterations.
Job Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or related field.
- Experience with stress testing, failure analysis, and Design for Reliability concepts.
- Knowledge of the physics of failure and its application to stresses.
- Experience with hardware reliability tests and third-party oversight.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and creative approach to challenges.
- Familiarity with environmental stress and reliability modeling.
