Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing production hardware and test equipment, focusing on electromechanical systems, and collaborating across the organization to establish design requirements.

• Design production hardware and test equipment
• Design and analyze electromechanical systems
• Collaborate with all levels of the organization to develop design requirements
• Select and manage contract manufacturers for various manufacturing processes
• Work with PCBAs and electronics enclosures
• Conduct gearbox design and fabrication
• Apply knowledge of DFM and GD&T principles

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline
• Strong understanding of electromechanical actuator design and analysis
• 3+ years of experience with the full design cycle from ideation to production
• 3+ years of experience in NX or other CAD packages
• General knowledge of designing for electrical enclosures
• Knowledge of DFM and GD&T principles
• Passion for innovation in the Aerospace and Defense sectors
