Responsibilities
- Electrical design, product requirements, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, and documentation.
- Using Altium to design board layouts according to given requirements.
- Develop and generate work instruction packages for manufacturing and testing of circuit card assemblies.
- Perform electrical evaluation and selection of instrumentation (temperature, pressure, position, etc.).
- Review test data and recommend changes to products and processes.
- Assist in growing the team by interviewing potential candidates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering; or other engineering degree.
- 3+ years of electrical hardware design experience, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Strong understanding of electric circuit design fundamentals and electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with basic electronic lab equipment, such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, and soldering irons.
- Experience in creation of design verification test plans and test execution.
