Responsibilities
- Design of balance of plant packages during development
- Engineering project support during pre-construction, construction, and turnover to Operations
- Ensure grid code compliance and interconnection requirements
- Specification and evaluation of major balance of plant electrical equipment
- Conduct power system modeling and studies
- Coordinate project engineering topics during construction
- Manage 3rd party engineering consultants
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Experience in transmission design, substation design, and power system studies
- Preferred experience in renewable generation project design (wind, solar, BESS)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer relationships
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
