Responsibilities
- Design balance of plant packages during development.
- Provide engineering project support during pre-construction, construction, and turnover to Operations.
- Ensure grid code compliance and interconnection requirements are met.
- Specify and evaluate major balance of plant electrical equipment.
- Conduct power system modeling and studies.
- Coordinate project engineering topics during construction.
- Manage 3rd party engineering consultants and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
- Experience in transmission design, substation design, and renewable generation project design preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Ability to multitask and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
