Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, validate, and improve manufacturing processes and digital systems.
- Maintain Production Technical Packages for all parts defining the manufacturing process.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and the Zero Harm program.
- Promote a culture of zero defects and support Right First Time manufacturing.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes are understood.
- Pursue self-development to enhance competencies for the role.
- Utilize statistical tools to assess process performance and identify variations.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years, or Master's degree, or JD/PhD.
- 6+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing composites or aerospace components.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems (CAD, CAM, etc.) relevant to the business.
- Understanding of process capability analysis and statistical tools for performance assessment.
- Experience with tooling/fixture design and prototyping for manufacture.
