Responsibilities
- Define, process, and interpret static and dynamic ground test & flight data.
- Perform, validate, and document structural analyses of vehicle structures.
- Conduct structural and dynamic simulations.
- Collaborate with design and test engineers on design concepts and test requirements.
- Define test requirements and support testing of subsystems and components.
- Lead technical projects across disciplines and teams.
- Implement new theories and tools within the team and establish best practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years (or 5+ years for Senior level) of engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency with NX Nastran, NX CAD, and Teamcenter.
- Experience in spacecraft-level structural test campaign design and execution.
- U.S. citizenship required due to program requirements.
- Master’s or PhD in mechanical engineering is a plus.
- Experience in analyzing additive manufactured parts and structural analysis of composites is desirable.
