Responsibilities
- Serve as the program manager for launch vehicle programs supporting U.S. Government initiatives.
- Collaborate with Chief Engineers to plan and execute programs.
- Identify implementation issues and develop recovery plans proactively.
- Report project status and problems to senior leadership.
- Lead inputs into proposal development and business development activities.
- Manage relationships with cross-functional engineering and production teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
- Program management experience in the aerospace industry.
- Thorough understanding of launch vehicle and space systems.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify and address problems proactively.
