Responsibilities
- Serve as the program manager for launch vehicle programs supporting U.S. Government initiatives.
- Collaborate with Chief Engineers to plan and execute programs.
- Identify implementation issues and develop recovery plans proactively.
- Report project status and problems to senior leadership.
- Lead inputs into proposal development and business development activities.
- Manage cross-functional engineering and production teams to meet program goals.
- Maintain professional relationships with all program stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, math, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
- Program management experience in the aerospace sector.
- Thorough understanding of launch vehicle and space systems.
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PMP, APMP) preferred.
