Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, test, and ensure operational readiness of next-generation propulsion hardware.
- Develop requirements and deliver validated designs and hardware for program milestones.
- Execute engine test plans and conduct post-test data reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and problem-solving.
- Support flight operations, including engine acceptance and post-flight analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and cryogenic systems.
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Advanced degree in a fluid mechanics-heavy field (preferred).
- Experience with staged combustion rocket engines and Methyl/LOX propellant systems (preferred).
- Background in failure analysis, combustion dynamics, and fluid systems analysis (preferred).
- Ability to travel to test and launch facilities (~25%).
