Responsibilities
- Work on the mechanical design and production of Rivian charging products.
- Contribute to product architecture focusing on user experience, quality, and cost.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure designs are manufactured on time and to specifications.
- Implement Design for Manufacture principles in engineering designs.
- Utilize FEA and thermal simulations for design validation.
- Test and validate designs from prototype to production.
- Engage in consumer product engineering design alongside charging network projects.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in design and CAD for large products.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, casting, and injection molding processes.
- Proven success in cross-functional collaboration for product development.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment with rigorous engineering standards.
- Proficiency in CATIA and at least two other major CAD software.
- Creative problem-solving skills and open-mindedness in engineering.
