Responsibilities
- Lead integration and packaging of electrical components in CAD.
- Optimize architecture focused on cost, mass, and part count.
- Streamline designs and manufacturing processes by eliminating redundancy.
- Optimize vehicle mechanical architecture and electrical system integration.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to minimize assembly time.
- Design mechanical components supporting electrical hardware.
- Develop and document component mechanical functional requirements.
Job Requirements
- At least 12 years of industry experience in automotive or related fields.
- B.S. degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in mechanism design, thermal design, and PCB integration.
- Proven problem-solving skills for electrical architecture challenges.
- Proficient CAD designer, ideally in Catia V5/V6/3DX.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and experience in EV vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with DFMEA principles and execution.
