Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release exterior components such as claddings and underbody panels.
- Utilize engineering knowledge to understand various manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the studio team to generate high-quality A-surfaces.
- Apply first principle driven design direction for exterior components.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional groups regarding parts and processes.
- Create CAD concepts and detailed 2D sections during initial development.
- Work with teams to solve design problems and meet system requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Master’s degree (preferred).
- 2+ years of relevant design experience.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Catia v5/v6 or similar.
- Hands-on experience in design through manufacturing processes.
- Strong logical reasoning and good organizational skills.
- Proactive approach to prevent issues and delays.
- Desire to improve customer satisfaction.
