Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and release exterior components such as claddings and underbody panels.
- Expand knowledge in manufacturing processes like injection molding and overmolding.
- Collaborate with the studio team to ensure designs meet DFM requirements.
- Utilize first principle design to optimize exterior components.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to manage parts and processes.
- Create CAD concepts and detailed 2D/3D designs during development.
- Work with teams to solve design-related issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Master’s degree.
- 2+ years of relevant design experience.
- Experience with CAD tools, specifically Catia v5/v6.
- Hands-on experience in design and manufacturing processes.
- Strong logical reasoning and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and improvements.
- Desire to achieve high customer satisfaction.
