Responsibilities
- Apply reliability engineering concepts to improve reliability for low voltage electrical systems.
- Use statistics to identify reliability trends and provide risk assessments.
- Develop tools and processes to monitor fleet health metrics for electronics.
- Facilitate root cause investigations focusing on physics of failure.
- Review test and end-of-line data from electronic Contract Manufacturers to identify potential risks.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to address reliability issues.
- Implement reliability testing guidelines and innovate new testing methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.
- Five or more years of experience in a reliability engineering role.
- Strong technical background in applied statistics and reliability.
- Proficiency in a coding language, preferably Python.
- Knowledge of Highly Accelerated Testing methods and failure mechanisms.
- Experience with PCBA reliability aspects and working with Contract Manufacturers.
- Familiarity with deploying reliability testing guidelines.
