Responsibilities
- Develop control algorithms and write Embedded C code for vehicle features such as lighting and powered closures.
- Create test cases and scripts for evaluating features in Unit test, Software-in-the-loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
- Collaborate with controls engineers to enhance simulation models for vehicle analysis.
- Conduct design reviews and address software issues in vehicles/prototypes.
- Test developed software on vehicles and assist in feature calibration.
- Design diagnostic interfaces for controllers.
- Work within cross-functional teams to resolve controls-related challenges.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, automotive systems, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience with automotive control systems.
- At least 1 year of experience writing Embedded C code.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with model-based design using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Creativity in design work along with excellent communication abilities.
