Responsibilities
- Own at least one project from conceptual design to installation on development aircraft.
- Participate in the full hardware development cycle.
- Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team and manager.
- Engage in hands-on building, testing, and integration of designs.
- Contribute to high-priority and value-added efforts for automated flight systems.
- Utilize CAD software and FEA packages for design and analysis.
- Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to projects.
Job Requirements
- Junior or Senior standing in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, materials).
- Experience with NX or similar CAD software and FEA packages.
- Passion for mechanical or electromechanical hardware.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems through classes, clubs, or hobbies is preferred.
- Skills in measurement, technical writing, and data analysis.
- Eagerness to learn and teach.
