Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to define requirements for industrial automation systems.
- Design and develop mechanical systems from conception to production, including creating models, drawings, and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to derive requirements and set goals.
- Ensure designs meet requirements for tolerances, functionality, and safety.
- Utilize rapid prototyping to iterate and refine designs quickly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience designing industrial automation equipment, mechanical structures, or mechanisms.
- Proficiency in CAD, including GD&T application, tolerance analysis, and drawing documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with robotics and electrical system design (nice to have).
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods and technologies (nice to have).
