Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with technology and operations teams to define requirements for industrial automation systems.
- Responsible engineer for the design and development of mechanical systems from conception to production.
- Create models, drawings, and specifications.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to derive requirements and set goals.
- Ensure designs meet requirements for tolerances, functionality, and safety.
- Utilize rapid prototyping to iterate and refine designs quickly.
- Take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience designing industrial automation equipment, mechanical structures, or mechanisms.
- Proficiency in CAD, including GD&T application, tolerance analysis, and drawing documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Nice to have: Proficiency in NX CAD software and experience with PLM systems.
- Nice to have: Experience with robotics and electrical system design.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods and technologies.
