Responsibilities

  • Responsible for civil and structural design and engineering for launch and test infrastructures.
  • Create engineering drawings, design documents, and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams on architectural and structural requirements.
  • Provide technical engineering support during procurement, construction, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with test and launch team members across various disciplines.
  • Manage and report project progress to remote management.
  • Utilize CAD programs and structural analysis software in design processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of civil structural design experience in aerospace or construction.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC).
  • Experience with construction management and field supervision.
  • Proficiency in CAD programs and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS).
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage project progress.
  • Background check clearance required for on-site work at government partner locations.
