Responsibilities
- Lead the development of electronics hardware including PCBA design for power, digital, mixed signal, and RF systems.
- Oversee mechanical hardware design such as enclosures, trays, and thermal management systems.
- Manage integration tasks including harnessing and vehicle-level packaging.
- Guide the team through the full product lifecycle from requirements definition to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
- Drive strategy and decision-making in a fast-paced development environment.
- Develop the skills of engineering leaders within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in developing hardware for mission-critical applications.
- 7+ years of experience in leading engineering teams.
- Familiarity with hardware development processes through the full product lifecycle.
- Experience with electrical CAD tools like Altium and mechanical CAD tools like NX is a plus.
- Knowledge of environmental testing equipment and EMC/radiation effects design.
- Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and thermal analysis techniques.
