Responsibilities
- Act as the mechanical design lead for high-performance RF systems.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure hardware meets structural integrity and other requirements.
- Coordinate between design team and program leadership.
- Optimize component and system designs.
- Conduct research, iterate on designs, and develop manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support during flight build and testing.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience leading mechanical design for space flight hardware.
- Strong background in designing space hardware best practices.
- Expert knowledge of SolidWorks and drafting standards.
- Experience with stress/modal/thermal analysis.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar environments.
- Must be a US Citizen or US Person.
