Responsibilities
- Act as the mechanical design lead for RF systems development and delivery.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure hardware meets structural integrity and other requirements.
- Coordinate between design team and program leadership.
- Optimize component and system designs with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Conduct research and development and iterate on design concepts.
- Provide technical support during flight build, test, and delivery.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience leading mechanical design for high-performance space flight hardware.
- Strong experience with space hardware design best practices.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and experience with CAD documentation.
- Experience conducting stress/modal/thermal analysis.
- Knowledge of AS9100 accredited environments.
- Must be a US Citizen or US Person.
