Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams working on multiple programs.
- Maintain expert communication with customers.
- Oversee structural, thermal, and electro-mechanical systems design and fabrication.
- Assist program management with task delegation and resource assignment.
- Mentor junior engineers in mechanical engineering practices.
- Conduct technical risk assessments related to mechanical development.
- Support design reviews and ensure adherence to design processes and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft design teams.
- Proficiency with mechanical design and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and production quality risk reduction methods.
- Leadership skills in technical or Integrated Product Team settings.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
