Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams working on multiple programs.
- Communicate with customers and manage project oversight for mechanical systems.
- Assist program management with task delegation and resource assignments.
- Mentor junior engineers and perform technical risk assessments.
- Support design reviews and guide drawing reviews and production.
- Maintain application of design processes and guidelines.
- Develop and review proposal content for internal and external customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant experience (8+ years for BS or 6+ years for MS).
- Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft design teams.
- Proficiency with mechanical design tools and production methods.
- Leadership skills in technical or Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
- Familiarity with NASA Space Force design standards.
- Active Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
