Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams on multiple programs.
- Communicate with customers and provide project oversight for design and fabrication activities.
- Assist program management with task delegation and resource assignment.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical risk assessments.
- Support design reviews and maintain design processes and guidelines.
- Develop proposal inputs and review content for internal and external customers.
- Lead department initiatives and engage in recruiting and technology roadmap creation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with relevant years of engineering experience.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft design teams and mechanical design tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and production quality risk reduction methods.
- Leadership skills in technical or Integrated Product Teams.
- Familiarity with NASA design and test standards.
- Active Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
