Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams on multiple programs.
- Communicate and interface with customers effectively.
- Oversee project and technical aspects of structural, thermal, and electro-mechanical systems design and fabrication.
- Assist in task delegation and resource assignment for program management.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical risk assessments.
- Support design reviews and perform drawing reviews.
- Develop and review proposal content for internal and external customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary spacecraft design teams.
- Proficiency with mechanical design and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of GD&T and production quality methods.
- Technical leadership skills in Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
- Active Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; US Citizenship required.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
