Responsibilities
- Act as the mechanical design lead for high-performance RF systems.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure hardware meets structural integrity and interface boundaries.
- Coordinate between design teams and program leadership.
- Optimize component and system designs with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Conduct research, iterate designs, and develop manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support during flight build, test, and delivery.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in mechanical design for space flight hardware.
- Strong knowledge of designing space hardware best practices.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD documentation.
- Experience in stress/modal/thermal analysis.
- Familiarity with AS9100 accredited environments.
- Must be a US Citizen or US Person.
