Responsibilities
- Develop innovative mechanical subsystems using CAD tools like Creo Parametric and Solidworks.
- Create preliminary sketches and diagrams to generate 3-D design models.
- Support mechanical engineering solutions for production issues.
- Collaborate with functional team leads for integration across product teams.
- Provide radar technical data package (TDP) support.
- Participate in engineering change processes and peer reviews.
- Support planning and execution of production programs and engineering changes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Demonstrated mechanical engineering design knowledge.
- Exposure to radar production program lifecycle stages.
- Experience in resolving technical challenges.
- Willingness to travel (minimum of 25%) to suppliers and production facilities.
- Preferred exposure to manufacturing tolerancing mechanisms and CAD skills.
