Responsibilities
- Support NPI by troubleshooting issues on the production floor and stabilizing yields.
- Collaborate with Development and R&D Engineers for design transfer and process characterization.
- Conduct process capability studies and implement improvements using data-driven analysis.
- Develop standard work and monitoring methods to reduce variability in manufacturing.
- Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Create and execute verification protocols and maintain manufacturing documentation.
- Train technicians and assemblers while promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of process capability studies, FMEA, and statistical analysis.
- Experience with plastic injection molding and automated processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality management standards.
- Proficiency in statistical software tools like Minitab or JMP.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and metrology tools is a plus.
