Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test passive and active opto-mechanical systems.
- Perform performance analysis and qualification/inspection reports.
- Collaborate with optical design and opto-mechanical teams for performance improvements.
- Monitor and automate optical and opto-mechanical systems.
- Set up, characterize, and optimize lasers.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, graduating on or after 2026.
- U.S. Person status required due to contractual obligations.
- Experience with imaging and laser optics, including micro-optics.
- Proficiency in programming languages or optical simulation tools (e.g., Matlab, Python).
- Familiarity with optical design programs (e.g., Code V, Zemax).
- Experience with mechanical design programs (e.g., Solid Works).
- Commitment to return to degree program after the internship.
