Responsibilities

  • Innovate and implement chips and cores using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Manage the complete Physical Design Flow and deliver high-speed, low-power designs.
  • Develop low power implementation methods and customized P&R for area reduction.
  • Conduct floorplanning, power planning, and IR drop analysis.
  • Perform timing optimization, RC extraction, and signal integrity analysis.
  • Debug timing violations and implement functional ECOs.
  • Design, verify, and deliver Physical Design solutions from netlist to final product.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year, or PhD.
  • 6+ years of industry experience in Physical Design and Place & Route tools.
  • Experience with Synopsys PTSI for timing closure.
  • Knowledge of formal verification and power domain analysis.
  • Proficiency in scripting and software languages including Python, PERL/TCL, and C.
  • Familiarity with physical verification processes.
  • Strong understanding of DFT mode constraints for place and route.
