Responsibilities
- Drive firmware design, implementation, and verification in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Assist in defining limits management solutions for future Qualcomm CPUs.
- Engage with open-source communities to support processor architectures and firmware features.
- Collaborate with teams on platform bring-up, debugging, and firmware lifecycle.
- Characterize and tune power and thermal management solutions for SoCs.
- Provide input to SoC and platform architects on future designs.
- Mentor and help identify skills requirements for hiring engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python.
- Experience in embedded firmware development and familiarity with embedded OSes.
- Proficient in writing and debugging C and assembly.
- Experience with pre-silicon environments and power/thermal limiting solutions.
- Familiarity with ARM v8 architecture is a plus.
- Self-starter with technical leadership skills.
