Responsibilities
- Mechanical development and design support of RF amplifiers and related systems from concept through production.
- Implement product development plans to meet requirements, schedule, and cost goals.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs; create and maintain bill of materials (BOM).
- Derive and implement thermal control solutions for electronics.
- Model and conduct FEA thermal, shock, and vibration analysis of assemblies and structures.
- Create and maintain engineering drawings and documentation; perform tolerance analysis.
- Direct junior Engineers, Designers, and Technicians as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ mechanical design experience for aerospace and military applications.
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional engineering team.
- Proven ability to meet technical, schedule, and cost goals with limited supervision.
- Experience with FEA thermal and structural modeling; working knowledge of Solidworks, Ansys, and Flotherm.
- Familiarity with military and aerospace specifications, including environmental requirements.
