Responsibilities
- Assist in developing single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable routing plans, and grounding layouts.
- Perform basic electrical calculations, including voltage drop, conductor sizing, and fault current analysis.
- Support transformer sizing, circuit protection, and load flow analysis.
- Work with power system modeling tools to analyze system performance.
- Prepare engineering reports, design drawings, and construction documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Stay updated on emerging PV and BESS technologies and participate in internal training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, power distribution, or interconnection planning.
- Basic understanding of PV systems and grid interconnection.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic proficiency in SKM, ETAP, EasyPower.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior engineers and teams.
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE 1547, UL 1741, and NFPA 70E standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
