Electrical Engineer - Level 1

The Electrical Engineer - Level 1 supports electrical design, interconnection planning, and power system modeling for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, collaborating with senior engineers and teams to develop efficient designs.

• Assist in developing single-line diagrams (SLDs) and cable routing plans.
• Perform basic electrical calculations, including voltage drop and conductor sizing.
• Support transformer sizing and load flow analysis.
• Work with power system modeling tools to analyze system performance.
• Prepare engineering reports and design documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Stay updated on emerging PV and BESS technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
• Basic understanding of PV systems and grid interconnection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and power system modeling tools (basic level).
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Strong communication skills for teamwork and documentation.
• Willingness to learn and participate in internal training.
